Take-Two Interactive Continues Landmark Video Game Series
New York, New York – October 12, 2016 -- Take-Two Interactive and Firaxis game developers are excited to announce the sixth installment in the award-winning strategy video game franchise Sid Meier’s Civilization VI.  “Civilization VI will provide the most detailed, beautiful and complete experience ever featured in a Civilization game,” said Christoph Hartman president of 2k Games.  The new installment to the franchise will bring: improved multiplayer, dynamic research, expanded diplomacy and a civilization for everyone.  The new game set to launch on Oct. 21 will bring the time-tested franchise into a new era of video game excellence.  Despite adding several new features to the game’s mechanics, the game will still feel and look like the same Civilization that fans have come to know and love over the past decades.  According to commentators on Twitter, “Sid Meyer’s sets the standard for strategy gaming and has set the bar to tremendously high levels.”  In 2010 Civilization V won the award for best strategy game of the year.  The sixth installment will continue Take-Two interactives proud tradition of video game excellence.
